Established in 2023 under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Sammakka Sarakka Central Tribal University (SSCTU) is India’s dedicated initiative to empower tribal communities through quality education, training, and access to research. Rooted in the ethos of social justice and inclusive development, the University is named in honour of the revered tribal deities Sammakka and Sarakka, who epitomise courage, valour, resistance, and the unyielding spirit of assertion.
Envisioned as a centre of academic distinction and cultural preservation, SSCTU aims to create an ecosystem that nurtures scholarship, innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility.
