Our Vision
To emerge as a premier national institution that empowers tribal and rural communities through inclusive, multidisciplinary, and value-based education; preserves and promotes India’s diverse indigenous knowledge systems; and fosters innovation, sustainability, and social transformation rooted in the spirit of Sammakka and Sarakka.
Our Mission
- To provide equitable access to quality higher education for students from tribal and rural backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity, social justice, and academic excellence.
- To promote interdisciplinary research and innovation addressing the educational, cultural, environmental, and developmental needs of tribal and marginalized societies.
- To preserve, document, and disseminate tribal heritage, languages, arts, and traditional knowledge systems, fostering respect for indigenous wisdom and cultural identity.
- To build collaborative partnerships with industries, research institutions, and communities for skill development, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
- To create a vibrant academic ecosystem that nurtures ethical leadership, environmental consciousness, and lifelong learning in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and India’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
